Mickey Aloisio is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Since arriving at EBF, Mickey’s intention has been to ‘think less and make more’, allowing his practice to shift from a pseudo-documentarian approach, to a more whimsical and process-driven exploration. Mickey’s been working with non-silver photographic processes such as cyanotypes and anthotypes, creating emulsions and toners out of juice that he’s strained from the local flowers and vegetation of the area.
