Ashley Page is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Portland, ME. Merging traditional textile/fiber techniques with sculptural sensibilities and applications, her work is a hybridization of traditional craft processes and spatial practice to reinterpret the human body and explore various modes of portraiture. While in residence at Ellis-Beauregard, she worked on a series of textile-based drawings, wire vessel forms, and fiber sculptures.
