“In slowing down, with the privilege of having this time and space there has been room for breaths, reflection, and reconnections. I have been exploring the environment that has allowed me space to be…free. After seeing works of the last 12 years together inhabiting space on Cape Cod, I wanted to give myself more freedom in letting vulnerability and myself speak without limitations. I am exploring my inner child, giving her the freedom to speak even though I don’t know the language, technique, or logistics of how things will come together. I’ve taken by curiosity that has led me to dry and record seaweed, collect things that get left behind from the tides, and gather materials from thrift stores. All while, resting, cooking, stretching, and connecting to myself and to the incredible artists/humans around me.”
